Land Acknowledgement:
We acknowledge the ancestors that came before us and want to give visibility to the indigenous peoples who are a part of our community: past and present. These are the tribes that inhabit the land Twilight Theater currently resides on:
- Stl'pulmsh (Cowlitz)
- Multnomah
- Siletz
- Grand Ronde
- and others

We recognize that these lands were stolen and that we have profited through colonization. Our goal is to create a community where people from all nations and tribes can celebrate humanity through the art of theatre.

Dear friends of Twilight,

Black Lives Matter.

Although I have always been proud of our strong mission, core values, inclusivity, and diverse casting here at Twilight Theater Company, I also recognize that we can and should do more to actively combat racism and condemn brutality.

As a community theater, community comes first. In that spirit, we are making a renewed commitment to:

- Investing in racial equity and diversity education & training for board members and staff
- Seeking out and creating more opportunities for BIPOC playwrights, directors, artists and designers and valuing their stories as integral
- Working toward a more diverse board and staff that is better representative of the racial population of our city
- Fostering an environment where BIPOC feel actively welcomed, valued & heard.
- Offering rental discounts to BIPOC members of the community

Thank you for your continued support of Twilight Theater Company. It has always been important to me to tell stories that spark conversation. I am grateful for the opportunity to make a difference.

Do you have thoughts or suggestions on how to keep improving? I’d love to hear them. Contact me directly here:
